Before contacting support

  • Check that your app is up to date.
  • Make a local export or backup before reinstalling the app.
  • Include your app version, iOS version, and a short description of what happened.
  • Do not email sensitive invoices, client data, tax records, or bank details unless support asks for a redacted example.

Common questions

Does InvBAS lodge BAS or tax returns?

No. InvBAS organises records and provides summaries only. It does not lodge BAS, annual tax returns, or other forms with the Australian Taxation Office.

Is InvBAS an ATO service?

No. InvBAS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or operated by the Australian Taxation Office.

Can support give tax or BAS advice?

No. Support can help with app usage, but cannot provide tax, BAS, GST, accounting, legal, financial, or superannuation advice.

Where are my records stored?

Current app records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, email, or share them through system services.

What should I do before deleting the app?

Export or back up any records you need to keep. Deleting the app may remove local records from the device.
